- Located in the left foot of the chin rest providing safe, discrete cord placement & minimal structural/tonal interference.
- 2.1id-5.5od female connector is used due to its compact size & robust connection.

Volume control
- Hand-carved ebony knob and teardrop shaped for easy tactile & visual adjustment
- Helps reduce bow noise, excessive high frequencies, & overdrive
- Easily turn the instrument on, off, & adjust volume during play
Human Ground
- An electrified instrument will at times produce a hum or background interference; contact between the skin of the player & a ground point on the instrument eliminate this problem
- A copper inlay on the ridge of the chin rest grounds the instrument during play
- A second ground point is established at the strings to maintain a grounded condition when the chin is not in contact with the chinrest
